The Centre for Counselling and Health Services (CCHS) is pleased to announce two upcoming Peer Education sessions designed to equip Peer Educators with essential knowledge and skills. The first session, titled “Safeguarding Minds: Gatekeeper Training, Self-Harm Prevention, and Addiction Awareness,” will be facilitated by Dr. Neeta is an accomplished Behavioural Trainer, Psychotherapist, Certified Edupreneur, Master NLP(International). The session will take place on 19th October 2024, In Smart Room, Central Block . This session aims to train Peer Educators in identifying warning signs of mental health crises and supporting peers who may be struggling with self-harm or addiction. The second session, “Building Strong Bonds: Pillars of Healthy Relationships and Setting Boundaries,” will be conducted by Ms. Sakshi S. Kochar a Certified Soft Skills Trainer, Drama Based Facilitator, VICT Master Trainer, Art Therapy Practitioner along with Ms. Charuu Srivastav who is a Image Consultant, Behavioural Skills Trainer, Drama based Facilitator Trainer. The session is scheduled for 20th October 2024, in the Smart Room, Central Block. The session will focus on fostering healthy interpersonal relationships. It will provide guidance on setting boundaries and recognizing red flags in relationships. These sessions are a vital part of the Peer Education Program, empowering participants to serve their fellow students with insight, care, and responsibility.
